How is Clinical Education Partners, Inc. different from other clinical placement firms?

We are laser focused on providing the best experience for partner universities, students and preceptors.

 

For our partner universities, that means we will ensure a student will completely meet your programs' specific competencies and objectives on time. Our goal is to earn your trust and become a valuable extension of your staff. 

 

For students, our job is to provide you with access to high-quality rotations and preceptors who will help position you with the skills and experience you need to achieve academic success and be prepared professionally.

 

For our preceptors, our partner universities and students need access to the best clinical educational experiences. We know you have a deep interest in educating and preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our goal is to earn your trust through communication and transparency so you can focus on what matters most; ensuring our future clinicians are well trained and successful.

What do I need to get started?

In order to get started, you need to be a physician assistant or nurse practitioner student in good standing with your university. In addition, you will need the following documents listed below.

What documents are required?

In order to book and confirm your clinical rotations, you will need to provide us with a copy of the following documents:

  • ​Current Resume or Curriculum Vitae

  • Letter of good standing from your university

  • Copy of current ID or Passport

  • Current physical exam stating that you are in good health (required annually)

  • Current negative PPD or chest xray if positive (PPD required annually)

  • Current proof of flu shot

  • Immunization records (MMR, Hep B and Varicella. *Some facilities also require TDap)

  • Criminal background check completed within the last 6 months

  • Toxicology or drug test within the last 6 months

  • HIPAA privacy training

  • Malpractice Insurance

  • Step 1 score if applicable

What is the recommended timeframe on booking rotations?

All rotations are on a first come first serve basis. We do recommend that you apply for your desired programs at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability. For requests less than 4 weeks before the requested start date, we will expedite the process if the desired date location and specialty are available.

What type of rotations do you offer?

We offer both core and elective rotations in a multiple specialties. All rotations are a minimum of 4 weeks. This will vary for nurse practitioners.

What is the process for clinical evaluation forms?

Our coordinators will handle all clinical evaluation forms. We will work with the school and the preceptor to ensure a smooth process.

Will my preceptor provide me with a letter of recommendation?

Letters of recommendation are a reflection of your academic performance and proof of your distinguished personal qualities that would make you an exceptional choice for your desired specialty. When it comes to your LOR's, they must be earned from a preceptor. It is up to the student to build a professional relationship with their preceptors to obtain a supportive letter of their qualifications. Preceptors are more than willing to provide them to exceptional students.
